What does “Cashless” mean?

Our venues do not accept cash for purchases inside thebuilding. All transactions must be made with a debit card, credit card (Visa,Mastercard, Discover), or mobile payment option like Apple Pay or GoogleWallet.

Can I use cash anywhere in the building?

No, our venue is fully cashless. The only exception is if a third-party vendor is onsite. In that case, it will be up to that vendor to decide if they will accept cash. Or mobile payment options like Apple Pay or Google Wallet.

Do you accept all credit cards?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. American Express is not accepted.

What if I only have cash?

Guests are encouraged to plan ahead by bringing a card or mobile payment. For those who arrive with cash, the Box Office can process payments, but an additional fee will apply.

What does “ticketless” mean?

Columbus Civic Center use mobile ticketing only. Your smartphone is your ticket.

Mobile ticketing is the primary method of entry and tickets are no longer printed. Guests are encouraged to download the Ticketmaster app to access their event tickets.

How do I access my tickets?

Tickets are available through your Ticketmaster account. Log in on your smartphone, download your tickets, and add them to your mobile wallet for faster entry.

If I am a Season Ticket Holder, how will I receive my mobile tickets?

Printed tickets are only available for Season Ticket Holders and Group Sales. These will be issued exclusively by the Box Office, Columbus River Dragons, or Columbus Lions.

Can I print my tickets at home?

No, printed tickets and screenshots are not accepted. Mobileentry is required.

What if I don’t have a smart phone?

When purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster the only delivery option will be mobile delivery. 

  • If the purchaser does not have a smart phone, but someone else in the party does, the purchaser can log into their account online at Ticketmaster.com and transfer their tickets to the other person in their party.  That person must go into their email and ‘accept’ the tickets, at which point they will be moved to this person’s account.  Then at the event the tickets can be pulled up on that person’s phone.
  • If the purchaser does not have a smart phone, and no one in the party will have a smart phone when attending the event, the purchaser can bring their photo ID and account number to the box office the night of the event and the box office can print tickets

Can I have multiple tickets stored on a single smartphone?

Yes. Once you select the event you're attending, you canview all your tickets by swiping left or right. We recommend transferring yourtickets in advance to your friends and family, so each person can scan theirticket upon entry.

Can I use a screenshot of my tickets to enter the venue?

No. Screenshots of tickets will not be accepted. You canaccess your tickets from The Ticketmaster App, your phone browser or yourphone’s digital wallet.

Can I manage my tickets on event day?

Yes. You may view barcodes on your mobile device or transfertickets online up to the start of an event. We recommend viewing and savingyour tickets to your phone's digital wallet in advance, in the case ofunexpected signal interruptions.

What if I am not attending the event but the tickets are purchased under my name?

If you purchased tickets for a relative, friend or client, simply transfer your tickets to them. Click the "Transfer" button on the tickets and enter the recipient's information. After the transfer is sent, the recipient will receive an email notification to accept their tickets.

Purchaser: Open the Ticketmaster App, log in, go to My Events, find event, click on Transfer button, select ticket(s) to be transferred, enter email address or phone number of who to send them to.

Person attending: Open email/text message received from Ticketmaster and click on Accept Ticket button.  Log into Ticketmaster or set up an account if you don’t already have one, and system will attach tickets to your account.  Then night of the show you can pull up the tickets, in your account, on your phone.

Please Note: Once the ticket transfer has been accepted, the tickets in your account are no longer valid and you cannot get into the event with those tickets.


How To Manage Your Tickets

Can I enter the venue with multiple tickets for more than one person using one smartphone?

If all members of your party are present at the time ofentrance, you may enter the venue with one smartphone. The ticket holder canaccess multiple tickets on their phone and swipe to scan each ticket. Werecommend that you transfer tickets to your friends and family prior to theevent for easy access into the venue.

I accidentally sent my tickets to the wrong email address. Can I reclaim them?

You may only cancel the ticket transfer if the tickets havenot been accepted by the recipient. If they have been accepted, you cannotcancel, and the recipient must transfer the tickets back to you. Once canceled,you may re-send the tickets to the correct email.

What is the cutoff to transfer tickets?

Tickets may be transferred up to and throughout the eventyou are attending. Once the ticket is scanned at the gate, however, it will nolonger be available for entry into the venue.

How do I access tickets purchased at the box office?

Tickets purchased at the box office will also be delivered electronically.  We will ask you for your cell number and email address.  Your cell number will be used to text your tickets, and keeping your email address on file will help us to contact you should an event be postponed or cancelled.

Once you receive the text, click on the link received and it will open your tickets.   If you purchase tickets for an event happening that day simply show tickets at the door.  

If you purchased tickets for a future event, you can click on ‘manage’ at the bottom of the ticket, log into your Ticketmaster account, and save the tickets to your Ticketmaster account for easy access at the event.
