Columbus Sports & Entertainment Authority

The Columbus Sports & Entertainment Authority, created as of July 1, 2025, is a subordinate branch of the Columbus Consolidated Government to supervise the managers, employees, buildings, grounds and operations of the Columbus Civic Center, Columbus Ice Rink, AJ McClung Stadium, and the South Commons Softball Complex, (“the Facilities”).

The authority consists of nine voting members and seven ex-officio members.

  2. CPA (Mayor's nominee)
  3. Corporate/Employment Attorney (Mayor's nominee)
  4. Marketing Background (Council's nominee)
  5. Trade Center Representative (Trade Center's nominee)
  6. RiverCenter Representative (RiverCenter's nominee)
  7. Columbus
