Chaperone Policy
The safety of our guests and associates remains a top priority at Columbus Civic Center Spring Fling. As part of our ongoing commitment to maintain a safe, family- friendly environment. This policy enforced daily beginning at the opening of Spring Fling, and the Civic Center reserves the right to implement it earlier as operational needs require. Guests who fail to comply with this policy may be subject to removal from the fair and any applicable actions permitted under the law.
All guests 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone age 21 or older for entry into Spring Fling and must remain accompanied throughout the duration of their visit. This policy is enforced daily beginning the opening of Spring Fling, and the park reserves the right to implement it earlier as operational needs require.
A valid government-issued photo ID with date of birth is required for all chaperones at the time of entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than (5) guests ages 17 or younger. Chaperones must enter the park with their group and remain with their group for the duration of their visit.
Guests 17 years of age or older may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification to verify age upon entry. If guest is unable to provide acceptable proof of age when requested, entry will be denied. Any guest 17 years old or younger found inside the park without a qualifying chaperone when the policy is active will be immediately subject to removal from the park.
