COLUMBUS, Ga. (November 1, 2021) – Actor and comedian, Mike Epps, announces his previously postponed show at Columbus Civic Center has been rescheduled for February 4th at 8:00 PM with Gary Owen, Lavell Crawford, and special guest host, Sommore. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets start at $52 (plus applicable service charges). All purchased tickets for the original show will be honored at this rescheduled date. The all-star lineup will be sure to bring down the house with non-stop laughter for an unforgettable night of comedy!
Epps is generating an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers for being not only one of the funniest comic actors in town, but also for his burgeoning dramatic talent. Epps is currently starring in the Netflix comedy series "The Upshaws" with Wanda Sykes. His recent film credits include "The House Next Door," sequel to the 2016 film "Meet The Blacks," the Amazon feature "Troup Zero" with Viola Davis, Allison Janney, and Jim Gaffigan, in addition to the Netflix comedy "Dolemite Is My Name" with Eddie Murphy. Epps is currently working on a new one-hour comedy special, a follow up to his 2019 Netflix special "Mike Epps: Only One Mike." She also has hosted Russell Simmons' "Def Comedy Jam," and "Showtime at the Apollo." She was part of the record-breaking "Queens of Comedy" tour in 2000, which garnered Sommore a wider fan base and got her registered in Guinness' Book of World Records when she performed to a captivated audience of more than 50,000 people in Atlanta, Georgia. Sommore has been featured in a number of hit films including "Soul Plane," "Something New" and "Friday After Next." Her all-new self-produced comedy special, "A Queen With No Spades" recently premiered on Showtime.
